Meissner's Corpuscules As a result of an increasingly digitalised world, our daily lives have become disengaged from touch. Reading print books is becoming an endangered activity being replaced with new forms of communication and informing. However, meaning and memory are created from our tactile experiences and technology's new tools can never offer the intimate sensory experience of paper reading. This work is a celebration of touch, paper & print. A harking back to the past in an electronic culture. The altered surfaces invite touch, allowing for a direct interactive sensory experience.
